After dividing our time between cycle touring and 5 one-week volunteering projects, we spent a month at Aquila Ecolodges helping develop the business by updating the website, building a database with previously collected customer data, compiling a basic financial projection and general maintenance (from cleaning lodges to clearing the water collection system).

1992 - 1995 President of the Hoofer Gliding Club, University Hoofer Council
Changed the Hang Gliding Club to the Gliding Club by introducing Paragliding and securing funding for the new program. Built the formerly two-person club into an active community of 125 members.
   2001 - 2004 Cycle toured (1/3 solo) 24,000 km in 11 countries on 5 continents
Paddled 600 km along Laos' portion of the Mekong river in a retired local ferry
