We visited with some of the many tour operations in Puerto Ayacucho to research the surrounding areas. We wanted to choose an area to visit that would best represent the territory where the Blakexpeditions crew would be filming in a few months' time. We chose the Manapiare region and booked a custom trip with one of the tour operators.
